I met Kb Killa Beats in the last quarter of the year 2020. He saw me on Facebook singing a tribute song to DaevZambia( MHSRIP), at TBwoy TbiZzy ‘s rehearsal and he was impressed with what he saw……….. “I started looking into your work and I was intrigued” he said.
He later reached out to me through Mr. Tbwoy and I remember sitting with him for the first time at K army, being overwhelmed with joy and gratitude that such a legend noticed me. Of course I had knowledge of him and the big names that passed through him like, Tsean, Jae Cash, Alpha romeo, the list is endless.
The next time we met, he gave me a concept of a song and i was able to compose. That’s how “Si hule” was made. It wasn’t long after that, that he was given the CEO position at Nexus Music Entertainment. Because he believed in me and my talent, he did not think twice to sign me at the label. The rest of the story is well known. I made songs like “Nakangiwa”, “No Regrets and ” You Deserve It”.
Mr. KB’s perspective on talent is, “don’t force opportunities, just put your work out there and people who know and understand good and quality talent will see, appreciate, and help you”………That is how he discovered me. My song “Nakangiwa” is making rounds in Burundi, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria and Malawi.
