Mutale Nalumango was born on 1st January 1955. She is a Zambian decorated teacher by profession, politician and is currently the vice president-elect for president-elect Hakainde Hichilema. She served as Secondary Schools Teachers Union of Zambia vice-president, before resigning to join politics in the year 2001.She first became a Member of Parliament in 2001 under the Movement for Multiparty Democracy in Kaputa Constituency. She has severed as deputy minister of information and deputy speaker in parliament in 2010 making her the first woman to hold that position.Ms Mutale Nalumango is famous for her clam temperament, her incredible negotiating skills and she’s one of the most glorified intellectuals in Zambian politics.Ms Mutale Nalumango is expected to add strategic organization and been a disciplinarian she’s expect to maintain discipline across the rank and file of UPND.Congratulations to Ms Mutale Nalumango.
